From my Diluc and Kaeya with an older brother who’s a Zombie like Qiqi

Ok, also I have decided to name the older brother Culum since this is the ending word from diluculum and crepusculum that Diluc and Crepus got their names from.

As a Human

As the big brother, Culum was a menace in Diluc eyes since he would pull small pranks on him such as offering him candy before tossing it into his own mouth and eating it or braiding flowers into his hair while he’s asleep before waking up and walking around confused about why everyone is hiding their faces from him as soon as he sees them till Jean asks why he has flowers in his hair.

While with Kaeya he was the cool older brother since he would be the person to take them out to the sea to collect shells and was the one to get Kaeya interested in riding horses by one of the stories he made up was a pirate who sails the seas with his first mate being a horse.

I also have it that in this universe Culum was the one to find Kaeya outside the mansion due to his sneaking out tendencies so he babies him a lot more then Diluc do to him being the one who who found a soaking wet child Kaeya seemingly abandoned by his parents.

Was the one Diluc mostly spared against due to him being more experienced and knowing when his brother had been pushed far enough and is just being dumb when he wants to keep going.

Was also the one who made Diluc hate alcohol when they offered some to him in his early teens and was too strong for Diluc that it felt like it was burning his mouth. (Basically he offered him vodka)

You that scene in JJK where Megumi is talking to a girl and Yuji freaks out and runs to Nobara and Gojo? Yeah that has happened here, with Kaeya asking if Diluc is cheating on him while Culum comes in with skin tight black pants and a dress shirt that only is buttoned in the middle so his abs and chest are all exposed while saying that him and Diluc must go home as “It’s time for training~” (the girl was just asking where to find the adventurers guild)

So all around the typical older brother that is annoying yet will go to hell and back for their siblings.

“Aw come on Dilly you don’t catch up to me if you give up now~ Woah! Time out! Time out! Hey Kaeya some help here. Help me! Not Diluc! Ack!”

As a Zombie

When they died and were brought back to life they now have trouble remembering names of other people or what they are supposed to be doing so Diluc or Kaeya will help them out if they aren’t busy otherwise a servant will be seen with them.

They still remember how to mix and serve drinks so they can be seen at the bar helping out with Diluc when he’s there and serving Kaeya Death After Noon.

Will sometimes pet Diluc and Kaeyas head on reflexes when they come up to him.

Diluc or Kaeya will at times be the one who changes the bandages on their body as Culum will forget to do so a lot.

Sometimes when Culum can’t remember something important he has to do he’ll go to either Diluc or Kaeya and ask what it is he was supposed to do again since he trusts them the most to not take advantage of him. Even if he can’t remember who they are.

“…Who are you? …ah right your Diluc and your Kaeya and I’m…I’m…who am I to you again?”

Imagine if Diluc and Kaeya had an older brother who died and became a zombie like Qiqi

(based on an old headcanon I saw once)

When they were alive

They would be older than Diluc by 7 years so around 15 when Kaeya is adopted.

When he got older, Kaeya got a lot of his flirty tendencies from the older sibling due to them being a massive flirt.

Would have taught Diluc and Karya how to sneak around when they once caught him trying to sneak out of the mansion to go drinking in Mondstadt.

Use a spear because when they went on a trip to Liyue with their dad as a kid he saw a person kicking ass while wielding one while they were staying at the Wangshu Inn. (Yes it was Xiao)

Had been more than once taken back home by the guards because they got in trouble for doing something stupid. Like climbing the giant statue or flying around with their glider.

When they died and became a Zombie

They died due to trying to fight off Ursa the Drake with his brother but were hit badly enough to cause a mortal wound and was bleeding to death.

Their last thoughts before dying was begging for Barbatos to help him save his family.

Venti heard him due to wind powers but wasn't fast enough to save them or stop Crepus from sacrificing himself. So he turned him into a zombie.

So Diluc had to deal with his father dying in his arms and his older brother becoming a near-emotionless zombie who forgets his name sometimes. With Kaeya right behind him since he lost an older brother who he looked up and was close to.
